Auntie's Vegan Coconut Curry

Auntie's Vegan Coconut Curry

The Story: Full of flavour, not spicy and full of goodness, just like Auntie made it. Inspired by our chefs of Indian heritage, this dish packs protein from the chick peas and lentils, along with a richness from the all vegan coconut milk and spices. This dish is best paired with rice or naan, but it’s so good you may want to eat it on its own.

Ingredients: garlic, ginger, kashmiri chili, coconut oil, onion, garlic, coriander, cinnamon, cloves, cumin, cardamom, black pepper, cane sugar, plum tomato, carrot, chick peas, coconut milk, apple cider vinegar, cilantro, carrots, lentils, kosher salt

Heating Instructions: Defrost if frozen. Heat in saucepot until warm.

Portion: 700g. Serves 2 people.

Dietaries: vegan, vegetarian, gluten friendly, dairy free

Farm’r opened its doors in 2017 right by the St Lawrence Market. We wanted to bring the best aspects of fine dining into a more accessible, fast casual space. For over 2 years, we served up local, delicious, scratch made food crafted by seasoned chefs to our neighbourhood as well as to offices in downtown Toronto through our growing catering business.

With COVID-19, we had to get creative and that’s how Farm’r Prepared Meals was born. These days, people are spending more time at home and cooking can get exhausting! We noticed that there weren’t a lot of quality frozen meals out there. Using the same core values we had with our restaurant, we’ve created a new menu of small batch, chef made meals that are ready to heat, eat and enjoy!
